To enable HR Shared Services (HRSS) to complete a Right to Work (RTW) check on an individual with a Home Office share code, the share code must be checked on the Home Office online check ouput must be obtained from the Home Office website and the individual must attend a Home Office Share code appointment via Teams with HRSS to verify that the person presenting themselves is a true likeness of the Home Office online check output.

If the individual does not attend their sharecode appointment, HRSS administrators will follow the below steps:

  • Attempt an Outbound Call to the applicant to advise them of missed appointment. If there is no answer, leave a voicemail.
  • Send a follow-up email, with subject line ‘Missed Sharecode Appointment’, to the individual to advise them of the missed appointment and how to re-book.
  • Send a new Digital Pre-employment Check (DPEC) request to the individual to re-book their sharecode appointment.

The email to the individual will advise them to re-book their appointment through the new DPEC link or, alternatively, to call the HRSS Query team to arrange an appointment.
