Data Protection Act (DPA) and Fraud/Negligence requests, are requests, typically sent from a Loss and Counter Fraud Specialist (LCFS) or counter fraud team, to an organisation, requesting information from relevant business areas to support their investigation into suspected fraudulent or negligent activity.
The customer's Information Governance team must approve provision of the information requested in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) before this information can be collated to share back with the requestor.
Requests can be made via email, Trac, or post to the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Query team. Verbal requests will not be accepted.
Once HRSS have received all information, the information will be shared back with the LCFS requestor for use in their investigation.
