The Electronic Staff Record (ESR) is a workforce management solution available across the NHS in England and Wales.

ESR provides an integrated Human Resource (HR) and Payroll system to NHS organisations by offering a range of tools and functions which enable employers to enter, store and analyse historical and current information about their workforce, these functions include:
 

  • HR
     
  • Payroll
     
  • Learning Management

  • Oracle Learning Management (OLM)
     
  • Performance Management

  • Personal Development Review (PDR)

  • Appraisals


If you are not able to access your ESR, please email the NHS England (NHSE) Workforce Systems team and they will be able to re-activate your account or reset your password to allow you to access the system.
