Before a Fixed Term contract or Secondment can be extended, you are required to seek the correct authorisation using your organisation's own internal processes.
A Fixed Term contract or Secondment can be extended by uploading a completed Employee Change Form (ECF) to the Document Transfer Service (DTS). Once the form has been processed an Addendum to Contract letter will be issued within 20 working days.
Any queries relating to an internal process should be directed to your local HR team; HR Shared Services (HRSS) are unable to assist with these types of queries.
A Fixed Term contract or Secondment cannot be extended through a Trac recruitment.
