Yes, an employee life cycle visa renewal may need to be set up as an ad hoc request for two reasons:

  • The Right to Work used previously was a positive verification notice (PVN) andt he employee now has a share code to provide. 
  • The employee has changed visa types.

If Corporate HR (CHR) identifies an employee who requires a visa renewal check they must email HR Shared Services (HRSS) with the employee number and reason the check is required. The email must be sent using the subject heading 'Employee life cycle – visa renewal – [employee number]'.

A request for a visa renewal check may also be requested directly by the employee, however they must provide their employee number and advise why the check is required. The employee should use the subject heading 'Employee life cycle – visa renewal – [employee number]'.
