Some changes cannot be processed via MSS. The following changes will be transacted by the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Electronic Staff Record (ESR) team and will require Managers to complete and submit an Employee Change Form (ECF) via the Document Transfer Service (DTS).

The ECF can be found on The Hub titled BSA - Employee Change Form - . These are:

  • All Allowances

  • Grade

  • Change to pay step point (excluding annual pay progressions as this should be done via MSS)

  • Change to personal salary

  • Unpaid leave

  • Career break

  • Promotions

  • Term time working

  • Flexible working (Condensed/Compressed hours)

  • Extension of probation – We do not require a change form if an employee has passed their probation

  • Removal of absence

  • Annual leave  - if you require any annual leave to be removed as this is incorrect, please submit a change form to DTS advising of the dates to be removed. The annual leave can then be reinput via employee self service if required.

  • Career Progression

  • Change to Afc T&C’s – this should only be used for TUPE employees who request a change to their terms and conditions via Corporate Human Resources (CHR)

HRSS will retain responsibility for the following:

  • Contractors
  • Flexi-Retirement
