If a vacancy closes having received no applications, HR Shared Services (HRSS) will contact the Recruiting Manager (RM) one working day after the vacancies closing date for confirmation on the next steps.

If the RM does not respond to HRSS within five working days, then the vacancy will be moved to the ‘Outcome’ stage in Trac. At this point, should the RM want to re-advertise, they would be required to submit a new Vacancy Request which would have to go through the Authorisation process.

Re-advertising a vacancy with no amendments

If the RM responds to confirm they wish to re-advertise the vacancy with no amendments, HRSS will re-advertise the vacancy within two working days of the response.

As there are no changes to the vacancy specifics, there will be no need for a new Vacancy Request.

Some examples of vacancy amendments that would require a new Vacancy Request are as follows.

  • Contract length

  • Job Description (JD)
