Once a Line Manager terminates an employee in Manager Self Service (MSS), the employee will receive a notification in the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) to complete an exit questionnaire. The questionnaire is contained within the ESR notification and the recipient will need to log in to ESR to complete and submit this.
The following will not receive an exit questionnaire:
- Contractor’s
- Employees who have not left for a voluntary reason
An employee can only complete the questionnaire on or before their last working day therefore the Line Manager will need to terminate the employee as soon as the resignation is received.
