If a candidate does not have the right to work in the UK, they will not be able to start employment.
If the candidate has evidence that they are likely to obtain the relevant Right to Work (RTW) documents within a reasonable time period, it is at the employer’s discretion to decide if they want to wait for the documentation so the check can be completed successfully, or withdraw the Offer of employment.
If there is no evidence that the relevant RTW will be obtained within a reasonable amount of time, the Offer of employment must be withdrawn.
