The NHS Business Services Authority (BSA) operate a probation policy for all new employees who are recruited into the organisation as per the tables below, the probation period should also be detailed in the Contract of employment.
Internal appointments are not subject to a further probation period.
Permanent Contracts
All Staff who are appointed on a permanent contract will have a probationary period of six months.
