When creating a vacancy request, the requester will have the option to include details for an ‘Informal contact’.  


The details will be displayed on the vacancy advert once published for the use of any candidate(s) who require further information prior to applying for the position.


Should the Recruiting Manager choose to include an informal contact on the vacancy, the details can include the following;

  • Name

  • Job title

  • Email address

  • Telephone number


If the vacancy is public and is posted on a third party job website, the contact details will automatically transfer across onto these sites. HRSS are unable to amend contact details on third party websites.
