'At risk', also known as ‘Redeployment’, refers to someone who is at risk of redundancy as a result of going through an organisational change process; this is usually identified after a consultation process.
Someone is usually ‘at risk’ because the role they are employed for is no longer required. During the organisational change process, they will be informed that they are 'at risk' and the organisation will attempt to identify 'Suitable Alternative Employment' (SAE). If this is not possible, they may:
- be 'given notice' of redundance,
- be entitled to a redundancy payment.
Should you have a query regarding an 'At Risk' status, you should contact the Corporate HR team.
