References are requested from the referees provided by the candidate as part of the pre-employment checks.

When a candidate is moved to the Offer stage in Trac, the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Recruitment team will issue an Offer letter and begin the pre-employment checks. This includes requesting references using the details provided from the candidate on their application.

Pre-employment checks, including references, will not be started until the Offer letter is issued.
