No. A proposed start date can be provided at this time but cannot be confirmed until all pre-employment checks are complete.

If a proposed start date hasn’t been provided by the Recruiting Manager (RM), HR Shared Services (HRSS) will calculate a proposed date of exactly 6 weeks from the date the offer was made and the start date will be the following Monday.

This will be entered into the Offer table by HRSS before the Offer Letter is issued.

The Offer Letter advises the candidate that the date is conditional based on their pre-employment checks being completed and that they should not hand their notice into their current employer until their start date has been confirmed by the RM.
