Once your Interviews are completed the Lead Interviewer will need to reject the unsuccessful candidates before accepting the successful candidate(s).

The successful candidate(s) can then be moved to the Offer stage in Trac to progress the recruitment.

When accepting the successful candidate(s) you will be prompted to complete an Offer table for each successful candidate.

The Interview notes for the successful candidate(s) should not be attached to the application in Trac. These should be held locally as per your retention schedule.


Important notes

The Offer table must be completed in full to enable an Offer letter to be issued by the HR Shared Services (HRSS) Recruitment team.

If any of the information is left blank, HRSS will contact the Recruiting Manager (RM) for further details.

Grade 

State the salary band based on the Agenda for Change (AfC) pay scales. 

For example, NHS AfC Band 4 
Salary  State the salary band range. 

For example, £21,089 - £23,761
National Spine

State the exact amount to be offered per annum, including the Pay-Step Point. 

For example, £21,089 Pay-Step Point 2.

If you are unsure of what salary to offer the candidate please speak to your HR Advisory Team before confirming the offer in Trac.

** If this information is missing from the offer table and we do not require any further information to be provided, we will assume the salary amount is bottom of the band pay-step point 1 in accordance with AfC guidance.

Please be advised that this date is conditional; you cannot confirm a start date with the candidate until you have confirmation from HR Shared Services (HRSS) that all pre-employment checks are complete.
