What is the two tick logo?

The two tick logo will be displayed if the candidate has identified that they have a disability whilst completing their application.

When is the two tick logo shown?

Once the vacancy and candidates have progressed into the Shortlisting: Evaluate stage, a two tick logo will be shown within the priority column of any candidate who has indicated they have a disability.

Are two tick candidates guaranteed an Interview?

A two tick candidate should only be reviewed against the essential criteria for a role; if they meet this then they should be invited to Interview.

Special attention should be paid to these applications and a second review of the scoring can be carried out to ensure the scoring is correct.

What if a two tick candidate is not invited to Interview?

Should the Lead Shortlister not invite candidates with disabilities to Interview, when confirming the Interview information the following message appears:

There are applications still in Shortlisting with priority status:

X applicant(s) have declared they have a disability

Please ensure that you have carefully considered all of these applicants and can confirm that they do not meet the basic requirements in the person specification that would guarantee their progression to the next stage.

How is the Interviewer notified of any special arrangements required for Interview?

A candidate can state if they require any special arrangements for the Interview when confirming their Interview acceptance.

The Interview booking form for a candidate is split into two questions;

  1. Do you have a disability that requires any special arrangements to enable you to attend Interview, such as wheelchair access? [Yes / No]

  2. Please describe the arrangements you require. [Free type response]

Any special arrangements will appear clearly in the Interview schedule and application list.

The Recruiting Manager (RM) will also receive an automatic notification when the candidate declares that they require special arrangements.
