References make sure that the candidate's employment or training history is suitable for the role they have applied for.
They are requested during the pre-employment stage in Trac and will provide the below information, as a minimum;
- Where the individual has been employed
- Dates of employment
- Position held
- Recent or on-going disciplinary action or referrals, if any.
If you are recruiting a student, the references will provide the place and dates of study.
