HR Shared Services (HRSS) will chase any outstanding checks by email every four working days. The Recruiting Manager (RM) will be copied into these emails to ensure they are aware what pre-employment checks are outstanding for their candidate.
The chases will take place;
- Four working days after the Offer letter was sent. This is classed as the 1st weekly pre-employment check chase.
- Eight working days after the Offer letter was sent. This is classed as the 2nd weekly pre-employment check chase.
- Twelve working days after the Offer letter was sent. HRSS will escalate this to the RM at this stage and advise them to have a discussion with the Corporate HR team on how to proceed with the recruitment.
The RM can also support the process during any scheduled contact with the successful candidate.
If the candidate has not started the pre-employment process no further pre-employment update emails will be sent following the initial escalation email, local HR will be copied into the Escalation email twelve days after the Offer letter was issued.
If the candidate has started the pre-employment process and some checks are still outstanding the Pre-employment Checks update - Escalation email will be sent every five working days until complete.
