Job Evaluation is a method of measuring the worth of a job in the organisation through the use of a structured framework. The process determines the pay band of a job.
In the NHS, the job evaluation scheme is applicable to those jobs associated with the Agenda for Change (AfC) terms and conditions only, (Bands 1 to 9).
